Our three cottages are well equipped and heated year-round for a comfortable stay so that you can experience the archipelago in every season.

The cottages are conveniently located next to Långviken's scenic beach. Each cottage has its own pier and a small sandy beach. We also rent out motorboats for fishing and recreational use.

The cottages are practically planned out and are fully equipped with a large kitchen, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, TV, wifi and a wood-burning sauna. With two bedrooms and a loft, with beds for six people, you will be comfortable throughout your stay!

THE COTTAGES

The cottages share more similarities than differences. Well equipped and with similar designs, the cottages are set up to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Well planned with lots of space

With its open design, this 76-m2 cottage feels spacious and airy. Two bedrooms downstairs and a loft, where 6 people can sleep comfortably. An extra bed can be arranged if needed.

A spacious kitchen, sauna and bathroom

The cottages each have a well-sized kitchen with everything you need for everyday living as well as special occasions. The cottages include a lavatory, a bathroom with a shower, a wood-burning sauna and a washing machine.

Terrace and grill

The cottages have two doors that lead onto a large terrace. From the terrace, you can easily get down to the beach for a dip or to the grilling area where a brick grill offers the possibility to prepare your food outside.

Proximity to the sea

Each cottage has access to a private beach and pier as well as a rowboat for shorter trips. We also offer the opportunity to rent a motorboat or a taxi boat for longer excursions in the archipelago.

BOOKING TERMS

booking and cancellations

Your cottage booking is confirmed when the booking fee (30%) is paid. The rental fee should be paid in full 28 days before the commencement of the rental period. Bookings for less than 4 days and rentals at short notice are charged in one payment.

Cancellations must be done by email or in writing. We charge a cancellation fee of €50. For cancellations later than 28 days before the commencement of the rental period, the booking fee (30%) will not be refunded. If the cancellation takes place later than 14 days before the commencement of the rental period, the entire rental fee will not be refunded unless the object can be rented to a third party. In the event of illness, the rental fee, except the €50 cancellation fee, may be refunded with the presentation of a medical certificate. The landlord has the right to terminate the lease if the rent has not been paid in time or in the event of force majeure.

arrival and departure

Please contact us 2–3 days before arrival regarding arrival time, handover of keys and presentation of the cottage.

The rental period begins at 4 pm and ends at 12 noon, unless otherwise agreed. If a final cleaning has been ordered, the time for departure is 10 am.

cleaning

Bed linens should always be used. Sleeping bags are not approved. Bed linens can also be rented.
The customer is responsible for the cleaning of the holiday home. The living quarters, sauna and the surroundings should be left in the same condition as upon arrival.
The guest should report, and is responsible for, any damage.
If the customer has ordered a final cleaning, please note that it is still the responsibility of the customer to wash the dishes they have used and place them back in their places, take out all garbage, empty bottles, etc. and put all the furniture back in its original place.
If the customer ordered bed linens, they should be left in a pile on the floor (they do not need to be folded).
If you want to do the cleaning yourself, we will check the cleaning immediately after your departure. Should it not be properly cleaned, Strömma Gård will send a bill for the time used for extra cleaning. Inadequately cleaned kitchen €100. Inadequately cleaned cottage €300.
You can order a final cleaning for €120 when you book your holiday home, or on site up to 2 days before your departure. When a final cleaning is ordered, the time for departure is 10 am (exception during low season).
As a guest, you are responsible for the following, which the final cleaning does NOT cover:
- dishes, emptying the dishwasher, refrigerator, cleaning the kitchen
- general cleaning inside and out
- cleaning of grill, garden furniture, rowboat and fish cleaning table at the beach
- emptying of ash from the sauna stove.
- emptying garbage and removing empty bottles
- removal of any pet hair
Detergents and cleaning accessories such as buckets, broom/dustpan, floor squeegee, vacuum cleaner and mop are available in the house.

Rental Agreement

The lease covers the use of the holiday home, sauna, firewood, electricity, Wi-Fi, kitchenware, dishes, beds (mattresses, duvets and pillows), grill and rowboat.

The guest should report, and is responsible for, any damage.

If the guest behaves in a disruptive manner, the lease shall be terminated without compensation.

best practice

Remove your outdoor shoes when you enter the cottage. This is a common practice in Finland that we recommend following. We recommend that you bring wool socks.
